EV3 800 is a range of controllers for blast chillers that manage conventional cycles such as blast chilling and freezing, with controlled time and temperature, and with soft and hard functions. They can also perform tests to ensure that the needle probe is correctly inserted.
The controllers are available in a compact version with 2 relays or a split version with 4 relays and a 12 V output, which can be used to manage another external relay. The second version can also manage up to 4 special cycles and has sealed relays for equipment using hydrocarbons.
With a standard 74x32 mm format, with 4 capacitive keys and IP65 front protection, the compact version has a single-line LED display, while the split version has a two-line LED display. The controller is built into the panel via a snap-on bracket.
Users can interact with the device remotely using the EPoCA® cloud platform with Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection (this also enables alternative or parallel control via MODBUS TCP). In the field, they can interact with the EVconnect® app using a Bluetooth Low Energy connection via a mobile device.
