The EVJ 700 compact controller is a modern alternative to electromechanical devices that manage horizontal cooking modules in professional kitchens. It offers maximum configurability, as it can be used for nine different applications: hotplate, oven, tilting pot, boiling pot, deep fryer, deep fryer, pasta cooker, bain marie and grill.
Depending on the application, cooking can be controlled by power or temperature and combined with a timer or pin probe as required. The temperature can be switch or PI controlled for greater regulation accuracy.
The stylish 2.8-inch LCD graphic display with 6 capacitive touch keys and/or a push encoder provides constant information about the ongoing process and makes the setting of cooking cycles easy.
Equipped with IP65 front protection, the controller can be mounted on the panel in a conventional way, built into the panel front, or hidden under the panel (if made of glass or methacrylate), ensuring high cleaning and hygiene standards.
The user can interact with the device remotely using the EPoCA® cloud platform with Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection (this also enables alternative or parallel control via MODBUS TCP). In the field, they can interact with the EVconnect® app using Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity via their mobile device.
