  • The EVJ 700 Thaw is a controller for thawing cabinets. It has five relays that can be configured according to the user's needs and is also available in a sealed version so it can be used with refrigerant gases with reduced environmental impact (such as R290).

The thawing cycle can be time or temperature controlled (using a needle probe) and automatically enters the hold phase. Each of the two operating modes has four preset programs, accessible from the display, allowing the user to quickly and easily customize the thawing and holding set points for the load, preventing bacterial growth and ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.

The display can be configured to show the current value or setpoint for the cabinet temperature, the needle probe temperature (for temperature controlled cycles) and the countdown (for time controlled cycles). A status bar indicates whether the thawing cycle is running and a buzzer sounds to signal the end of the cycle. Alarms are also signaled by visual information and sound.

The controller has a built-in user interface with a 2.8-inch color graphic display, 6 capacitive keys and an IP65 continuous surface front. It can be mounted in a panel in a conventional way, built into the front, or hidden under a panel (if made of glass or methacrylate), ensuring high cleaning and hygiene standards.

Users can interact with the device remotely using the EPoCA® cloud platform with a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection (this also enables alternative or parallel control via MODBUS TCP). In the field, they can interact via a mobile device with the EVconnect® app, which uses Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity. For more details, compare all connectivity options in the technical data sheets and refer to the sections on our website: Products / Management and Monitoring Systems and Products / Connected Devices.
