The Vcolor 679/689 is a controller for proofing boxes that offers high performance and precise regulation thanks to a modulating output that can control up to ten evaporator fan speeds. The evaporator fans can also be regulated using an EVCO inverter. In the 689 model, the modulating output can also be set to control a variable speed compressor. The controller's firmware can control the Mistral range of ultrasonic humidifiers through the RS-485 serial port.
By simply setting a parameter, the controller can be configured to manage the slowdown protection and protection automatic cycles. Variables such as temperature, humidity, fan intensity and duration can be managed independently in each phase. In addition to the three-phase waterproofing cycle (reawakening, waterproofing and baking delay), blocking and holding are added to the anti-stuck cycle, as well as manual cycles such as heating waterproofing and cooling/precooling/heating anti-stuck.
The controller's innovative programmable platform gives manufacturers the freedom to personalize the graphic skins and programs and add new languages. All they have to do is compile an ODS file and upload it to the USB port on the user interface using a flash drive.
Users can interact with the device remotely, including starting/stopping the duty cycle, using the EPoCA® cloud platform with Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity (alternative or parallel control can also be achieved via MODBUS TCP). The controller has an open frame board and a remote user interface consisting of a 5" (M) or 7" (L) capacitive TFT touchscreen graphic display made of glass, mounted horizontally, semi-recessed into the front or flush with the panel.
