Rotary Pizza Oven Controller
-
The Vcolor 379 controller manages a rotating pizza oven powered by wood, gas or electricity. The controller drives the three-phase motor of the rotating plate when it is connected to the EVCO inverter via the RS-485 serial port. The user can select the direction of rotation (even pausing the plate between rotations) and adjust its speed. It can also control the temperature through one or two analog inputs, independently regulating the power or temperature of the top and floor heaters and has several functions such as fast heating and economic mode. In ovens where the temperature cannot be controlled, the inputs are used to measure and display its current value.
The controller can save up to 99 recipes. The recipes can be compiled in an ODS file (including pictures in BMP or GIF format) and uploaded to the controller using a USB flash drive, thanks to an innovative programmable platform that allows the user to customize the recipes and add new languages. Recipes can also be changed, overwritten and saved directly from the display, with the ability to turn on and off two different recipes for each day of the week.
The Vcolor 379 controller consists of a control module with an open frame plate, an inverter with an open frame plate (both mounted on the oven) and a remote user interface with a 5" (M) or 7" (L) capacitive TFT touchscreen graphic display in glass with IP65 protection for easy cleaning. The user interface can be semi-recessed on the front or mounted flush with the panel to perfectly fit in with the oven's design.
The user can interact remotely with the device, including starting/stopping the duty cycle, using the EPoCA® cloud platform with Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection (alternative or parallel control is also possible via MODBUS TCP).
