Temperature and humidity devices and controllers for cold rooms
-
Vcolor 229/249 This controller features a 5" or 7" TFT glass graphic display and 9 HC relays (expandable to 13) configurable for hot, cold and neutral zone preservation of the product, as well as for controlling humidity. Another output can be configured to regulate the compressor or fan speed (the latter can be managed by an EVCO inverter connected via the serial port). A backup module can also be integrated to manage emergency situations in the event of a power failure.
Humidity is managed by switching the evaporator fan cycle or an external dehumidifier or humidifier (integrated control via the RS-485 serial port when using an ELSTEAM Mistral ultrasonic humidifier). The controller can be programmed to measure relative humidity by means of a combined T/RH EVHTP520 probe or a high-precision RH 4…20mA transducer such as the EVHP523.
Access to the controller is protected by a multi-level password and features an intuitive navigation with graphics reporting trends, alarms and HACCP events on the display. It has 3 energy saving levels, 72 OEM programs for food preservation, another memory slot for 48 programs that can be customized by the user, and 4 special cycles (pull-down, continuous cycle, sanitation and defrost). A test cycle can be performed, as can the output.
The controller’s innovative programmable platform gives manufacturers the freedom to personalize the graphic skin and the OEM programs, as well as add new languages. All they have to do is compile an ODS file and upload it to the oven’s controller using a flash drive, thanks to the USB port on the user interface.
The user can interact remotely with the device, including starting/stopping the duty cycle, using the EPoCA® cloud platform with Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection (alternative or parallel control can also be achieved via MODBUS TCP).
